Description:

One solo monk seal spotted by some of my danish friends at Kahuku Beach in Oahu. Looked very healthy and heavy for a seal and they kept their appropriate distance from it.

Habitat:

Sandy beach and the waters next to it. It looks like it had been taking a nap possibly or sunbathing?
