Wow, thanks so much bayucca! I looked, but didn't see any adults.
Definitely a Pentatomoidea nymph. I am also tending to Pentatomidae and I think Chinavia hilaris might be a nice match. But these nymphs are not easy to ID. Do you remember some adults nereby? http://bugguide.net/node/view/925374/bgimage More babies... http://bugguide.net/node/view/885563/bgimage Little later than yours: http://bugguide.net/node/view/730070/bgimage http://bugguide.net/node/view/716545/bgimage http://bugguide.net/node/view/540788/bgimage http://bugguide.net/node/view/399059/bgimage http://bugguide.net/node/view/324654/bgimage http://bugguide.net/node/view/324655/bgimage Did I convince you? ;-) The whole bulk: http://bugguide.net/node/view/260519/bgimage?from=168 Adults: http://bugguide.net/node/view/9066/bgimage
