Thanks!! @ AlexKonig, I didn't even realize I didn't have it as fungi. Thank you for pointing that out to me!! I updated!
i had mark them in my browser to comment them only, but in the rush i had given a suggestion on a most-likely already right id spotting (wasn't the original intention) , back then i just wanted to suggest to set them to category : "fungi", because "lichen" are fungi and moss in symbiose. so sorry for eventually confusion and btw nice find, would love to find some "lipstick/ british soldier lichen" myself. maybe next year !!
i read that the presence of Lichen indicates clean air!!
Thank you! I will update the information. I searched Lichen Blooming and it looks just like what I have been finding in the woods.
I remember seeing these often as a kid in the Ocala National Forest.
Looks like a lichen with fruiting bodies. No idea what kind.
