Description:

A resident breeding bird in the tropics in Africa south of the Sahara, the Middle East and southern Asia east to India. A long-tailed pigeon with red legs, black and reddish-brown tail and wings, some blue on the wings, and black spotting on the throat.

Habitat:

Scrub and dry farmland

Notes:

Spotted in a public park in Abu Dhabi.

What a cool picture. Over in Australia they are an introduced species. Good to see then in their natural habitat
