Description:

Dianthus hyssopifolius [= D.monspessulanus] blooms in summer with flowers with 5 petals pink, largest of the wid Carnations of the region, with fringed margins. The calyx is a green cylindrical tube about 2 centimetres long with reddish teeth. The leaves have color green glaucous and, as in all the carnations, are opposite, long and narrow. These pinks are fond of mountains, they live in meadows of rocky slopes and hills

Habitat:

Spotted in a rocky meadow in mountain terrain. Parque Natural de Somiedo
