Field Notes

Description:

Bright yellow flowers, many with a red spot in the center. Such a beautiful, bright flower to see in the desert! They were about 6 inches tall and were growing among many other wildflowers.

Habitat:

Anza-Borrego Desert State Park during the superbloom

Notes:

Cannot tell if this is M. glabrata or M. californica
