Wow, good spot then! Hedgehogs can be elusive, I've only ever seen a few in the wild :) And Harsha, they can make for very friendly pets once they get to know you! We had one when I was a kid.

Lovely photo! This little guy is a hedgehog, though is probably called something else where you are from :) Is he wild? European hedgehogs can be found in Russia, I think you're just on the boarder of their range. If its a pet, it is an African pygmy hedgehog which is a cross between two species :)
