Turquoise-browed motmot
Eumomota superciliosa
20.7099, -89.0943
Field Notes
Description:
It looks like it could be this type of motmot but what puzzles me is that the bird did not have the pendulum shaped feathers in its tail. Is either young, a female or it was molting?
Habitat:
Tropical rainforest Central america
Notes:
Pics are not so good (long distance, not much light and not the best camera for it) but is enough to show what I have seen, which it was a very cool spotting.
