Description:

Gray female leaf-cutter bee with abdominal scopae (pollen-carrying hairs on underside of abdomen). Observed foraging on blue mistflower (Conoclinium coelestinum).

Habitat:

Bee foraging in the pollinator garden at Penn State Arboretum.
