Description:

This playful little thing was spotted on the shore where he or she was very curious about our presence. Otters are near threatened (IUCN) in Europe, having recovered only partly after they declined in the early 20th century due to pollution from pesticides such as PCB's.

Habitat:

Fresh- and saltwater environments across Europe, middle east and Asia.
