Field Notes

Description:

Erebidae; Hypeninae; Hypena masurialis. I have used this scientific name because it is the name used by Philippine Lepidoptera and they are, as far as I know, the best authority on Moths and Butterflies here. However, wikipadia says : " Hypena masurialis: synonym of Rhynchina obliqualis (Kollar, 1844)"

Habitat:

Spotted in our back yard yesterday morning around 9:00 am.
