Thanks, you must be right Nuwan. There must have been multiple species flying around the same area. I've removed the second photo.

Hi dan, are you sure 2nd pic belongs to the same individual? i agree 2nd pic is common rose. but 1st one is definitely not common rose!

Thanks for the ID Nuwan. I've updated but I'm not sure after adding a ventral view. It doesn't have the blue in the great helen, looks more like the common rose from that view. What do you think?
