Description:

The eggs of a Clown Nudibranch (sea slug).

Habitat:

Found in tide pool on a day of unusually low tide. It is attached to a piece of kelp.

Not only they are themselves beautiful creatures but they also make this work art when they lay their eggs :-)

Oh, thank you! A Google search turned up several similar images labeled "nudibranch eggs." What wonderful, fascinating things.
They are eggs of some nudibranch or sea hare, most likely.
