an inch and a half with a thin tail.. beige coloration with dark brown/red spots..

Peninsular India from the outer Himalayas to Travancore, avoiding the desert tracts; Ceylon; Assam; Burma; Tenasserim; the Andamans and Nicobars; extending into the Malayan Sub-region to the Philippines
