Field Notes

Description:

Evergreen shrub with serrated leaves. The flowers were dried so I don't know what color they were.

Habitat:

Along Daley Ranch trail in Sage scrub and chaparral. Native to California.

Hi Michele, it may very well be. I'm so bad with plants! Since my spotting is so dried out, it's difficult for met compare with a blooming plant. Thank you for the suggestion.
