Field Notes

Notes:

I've been getting withdrawal symptoms with the scarcity of critters around here recently so I was pleased to see this small rather drab owlet moth on the floor of our bathroom on New Years Eve. Unfortunately by the time I had retrieved my camera it had vanished & has been playing hide & seek with me ever since!
I finally managed to get one shot of him on the window before it got shy & hid under the frame! Hopefully I will be able to ambush it again tomorrow & get some decent daylight macro photos!
