Description:

I shot this leaf hopper on a rusted steel tube next to a street light at night. It measures no more than 1/4" long

Habitat:

Tropical dry forest in NW Costa Rica six weeks into the six month dry season.

Nice to see this one again...
Thanks Karen. I shot this at night so focusing was a tad difficult. He took off with the first flash and I didn't have an opportunity for another shot. I hope that he/she will be hanging around that street light again soon.

bayucca you need to seriously consider a path in entomology!
These little beauties are terrible to ID. What do you think about my suggestion? I am pretty sure it is a Ladoffa sp.
