Description:

Tan/dark drown to olive green flat leathery shell, long neck, elongated head, with snorkel-like nose.

Habitat:

Ponds, streams, rivers, lakes & swamps.

Notes:

If they feel threatened, they will bite! They emerge from water to bask in the sun and to lay eggs.
