On the dunes while walking to the beach, just before Sebastian State Park I saw these. They grow wild in the dunes all along the A1A beaches from Cocoa Beach to Sebastian.

No problem! Happy to be of help. This is a *great* app and I think you'll really like it. You're off to a great start!
Thanks for the info. New to this app and found your suggestions after seeing your messages :)
The common name that is most often used is blanket flower. The species found in your area in Florida is Gaillardia pulchella (that's the scientific name). Plants and animals may have many common names - for instance blanket flower may also be called fire wheel (the pulchella species is often called this as a common name) but the scientific name always stays the same.
Thanks Sarah and Misha, what is the name of the plant so I can edit?
One of my favorites to plant here in Florida. Sarah has the right ID - I'm only adding the full species name in my suggestion.
