Description:

A brown butterfly, probably the Common Brown Ringlet (Hypocysta metirius), a species of butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. The hindwings have prominent ocelli, and the base of the hind wing flares out a little bit.

Habitat:

sub-tropical rainforest
