Field Notes

Notes:

The main reason for the setup of Udawalawe National Park in Sri Lanka was to preserve herds of wild Sri Lankan elephants in a suitable environment. The pictures were taken in the morning in woodland. The young and enrgetic male was roaming alone, while the females were in family groups with their young.
