Cool caterpillar. Nata, I'm coming to Colombia next week. I have a good idea of where I'm going but wondering if you have any nature areas you highly recommend?
Definitely a Saturniidae/Silk Moth Caterpillar and Automeris sp. Unfortunately there are several different species around, so closer ID is tricky. The one in the link is not yours but shows some similarities. There are even several ones with these typical red feet, green spikes and white patches. Beautiful spooting and welcome to Project Noah!
Cool caterpillar! Welcome to Project Noah Nata!
