Field Notes

Description:

Males are brightly coloured in bronze with tinges of orange and red on the flanks while females and juveniles have a black and yellow longitudinal striped pattern.
Males have a yellow tail, females have a blue tail.

Habitat:

Rocky habitats, especially along rivers.

Notes:

The first picture is of a male but he was too quick for me to get a full body shot! The 2nd and 3rd are of a female with the blue tail.
