Description:

A species of rodent in the family Muridae.

Habitat:

Subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, swamps, and rocky areas. It does not occur at altitudes below 2500m.

Notes:

Seen on the rocky outcrops around the highest pub in Africa (2874m) on the Sani Pass.
