Field Notes

Description:

One of the smallest if not the smallest species in the genus, at least fruit and flower-wise. The one in the first photo is full size, and will ripen to purplish black. The fruit is about 1 cm in diameter.

Habitat:

Climbing a palm tree on shady trail on the Chassahowitzka Salt Marsh Trails

Notes:
