Field Notes

Description:

Agastace aurantica grows to 2 feet high and 3 feet wide with fragrant foliage and lavender flowers on elegant dark burgundy stems. Does well in dry nutrient poor soil.

Notes:

I've started seeds of these Rose Mint Agastache as I look forward to summer. I have a couple of other varieties for the same purpose of attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. With the temp. 18 degrees F outside and snow, it gives me a piece of summer to look forward to.
