Field Notes

Description:

This specimen was flying through my yard when I got college.
The spots on the wings are transparent.
As the specimen was almost the size of my hand, I suppose it had about 20cm from wing to wing

Habitat:

I found this specimen on my yard, a region of transition between the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest.

Notes:

The Flash and the low light left the photo a little "caramelized".

Very cool. Good that you said its size was almost that of your hand as it doesn't seem quite so large in the photo.
Yup "Kibuyu", I agree, really wonderful... And, very thanks for help with ID!
