Description:

The Crested pigeon is a common species all over Australia. This one was looking a bit bedraggled in the heavy rains that fell on uluru over Christmas

Notes:

like most species that have adapted to living around humans, the individuals living away from human habitation have somewhat brighter/cleaner coloriing
