Description:

Approximately 1-1.5" diameter. Mound shape. Dark fawn colour. Growing from a damaged part of a tree trunk

Habitat:

Mixed fruit plantation

Notes:

Small unidentified white fungi in a seperate spotting

There's one slime mould that I know looks similar - False Puffball Enteridium lycoperdon I don't think the brown spore mass has the same pattern, maybe it's a similar species!
