My dad sprayed some pesticide last night and this morning I found this cockroach coming out of its case. It was alive, kinda. We would like to know what happened here because we didn't know cockroach could do that!

This a process by which insects try to overcome the unfavorable condition of surrounding, Some insect try to lay their eggs quickly before die other such as this cockroach here try to complete its life cycle fast by going to next instar also it get rid of contaminated exoskeleton and from such kind of phenomena we can understand how insect dominated our earth now
The hardiest of insects! They are mostly considered pests here in the U.S. and difficult to exterminate. Supposedly they have a high radiation resistance and could survive a nuclear war... Crazy!
Ohh thanks a lot! I didn't know that, I also didn't know they live for years!
Cockroaches will shed their exoskeletons many times a year as they grow. These molted exoskeletons are often mistaken for albino roaches :)
