Field Notes

Description:

Small Cowrie Shell, less than 1 cm in size. Mostly pink in colour with some patterns. The White spiky stuff is part of the mantle, when touched, it will retracts and hide inside the shell. Its then that you will see the smooth shiny shell, which most non-divers are more familiar with, among many sea shells found on the sea shore or sold at souvenir shops.
