Field Notes

Description:

A 12-13 cm bug with a yellow back and large black stripes broken by a thin yellow line down the middle. The posterior black band is not broke.

Habitat:

This is a first sighting of this bug. It was seen under a light @ 20:40 on the side of a cement block building in the Amazon rainforest of SE Ecuador.

Notes:

When held it almost immediately took off back to the side of the building.
