Field Notes

Description:

On night safari near Panna National Park. Sloth bears, jackals, jungle cats, porcupines seen. Only got photos of the palm civet--saw a number of these. Village conservation project organized the safari in forest along the Ken River. This species is found throughout South and Southeast Asia. Primary and secondary forests, even parks and gardens.

Habitat:

Forest along the Ken River in Madya Pradesh, India.
