Description:

Two tall-stemmed plants with single, three-petaled, white to pink-colored flowers which nod towards the ground.

Trillium catesbaei blooms in spring under hardwoods and spreads via underground rhizomes. It is one of twenty species of trillium in Georgia.

Habitat:

Mixed hardwood/coniferous forest in North Georgia. Fort Mountain State Park.
