It wasn't the Bower's but the Little Shrikethrush I read of "During a study of the toxicity of the genus Pitohui, two specimens of this species have been tested too. One of them did have traces of batrachotoxins (BTXs) similar to those found in the secretions of Central and South American poison dart frogs."

Tx Liam! It certainly looks like it is a Bower's. I did some searching, there isn't a great deal of information and I couldn't find anything on the toxic poisons it may have. What an interesting bird if it is - I've never heard of birds being toxic.
