Description:

Moth, about 1 inch in length. I like the beige stripes he exhibits, and would love to find his ID! Thanks to seto2112 for ID.

Looks very similar but Simyra albovenosa is not an US moth.

Closest guess would be Noctuidae, Aletia oxygala. But there are some additional very tiny spots on the wings I am not very happy about. Take it as a hint. http://bugguide.net/node/view/78185
