Thank you. After looking at more pictures of it online I'm pretty sure it is Chinese privet (Ligustrum sinense).
Maybe a Ligustrum sp. (e.g. Ligustrum sinense). In that case, look for white flowers, 4 petals. Common escape in Florida. http://www.rnr.lsu.edu/plantid/webtour/species/privet/privet.htm
