Field Notes

Description:

These markings are made by leafminers. The leafminer caterpillars bore into the leaf and mine just below the upper leaf surface. Caterpillars are flattened, white and very small (4-8 mm when fully grown). The mining activity causes a reduction of the active leaf surface, reducing assimilation. Attacked leaves are also usually shed prematurely.

Dear bayucca, I have added the minimum needed information to my spotting.
There are actually Coffee Leafminer, for example of the genus Leucoptera, but there are tons of other coffee pests around: http://www.infonet-biovision.org/default/ct/140/crops
Dear Chief RedEarth, we shall together wait for someone to decipher.
