Description:
This snake belongs to the genus oxyrhopus, although we could not identify it to species level. Came from Chulumani dry forests on the slopes of eastern Andes of Bolivia. It measures about 70 centimeters, and like other species of this genus probably feeds on lizards. It is not dangerous or aggressive, but oxyrhopus can inject venom, and bites can be painful.
