Description:

A tall yellow Aster endemic to FL. The leaves are stiff; and the flower is large and yellow. It is a pollinator attractor.

Habitat:

This flower was observed at a County park located along the FL coast. It was in an open, sunny area w/ a surrounding of Slash Pine trees. The soil was sandy.
