Hoverflies, sometimes called flower flies or syrphid flies, make up the insect family Syrphidae. As their common name suggests, they are often seen hovering or nectaring at flowers.

Wow that's a nice shot! I didn't know an olloclip worked that well.
I'm having tons of fun with the olloclip. I highly recommend it if you have an iPhone. The macro world of critters just isn't the same without it!
