Field Notes

Description:

Bright red nymph with black spots on the abdomen and black elytra starting to develop. The head is dark with red markings. The legs and antennae are also black. This nymph is very similar to the Small Milkweed Bug with the difference being an absence of two black, diagonal lines on the pronotum.

Habitat:

Oleander in the backyard.
