Description:

About 1" long. To the naked eye, it looked like holes in the wing. Fascinating design. Beautiful eyes.

Seen near gasoline pump.

Species ID Suggestions

Crambid Snout Moth

Euchromius sp.

Either E. ocelleus or E. californicalis. There are subtle differences and the differences appear to me to have an overlap.
