Description:

At sea, they fly low over the water, darting between waves.
Black above and a white underside. Webbed feet.

Habitat:

Live in burrows, sometimes at altitude.

Notes:

Encountered these fantastic birds on a trip to see their breeding site and to hear about attempts to protect the population from rats.

How nice to see this lovely Manx sheerwater up close & you will be pleased to learn this is the first spotting we have of this species here on Project Noah!
