Field Notes

Description:

Gray fish with defined white spots around its face. I was asked to post this by a friend who took this picture. Some fishermen pulled it up in a net and took a picture before setting it free. It was alive when it was re-released, and I am hoping it made it back to where it belonged. A local researcher from the area told my friend this is a prowfish.

Habitat:

About 600 ft. of water.
