Field Notes

Description:

Spider with body length of approx 8mm. Basking in the morning sunlight.

Habitat:

Low herbs growing beside dirt road, James Cook University, Cairns campus.

Notes:

Identification by Robert Whyte (www.arachne.org.au) Clubiona (probably) modesta. This specimen looks to be freshly moulted and therefore hasn't colored up yet.
