Description:

Dyplolabia afzelii belongs to the family Graphidaceae and is characterized by a thin grayish brown thallus and the elongated white fruiting bodies.

Habitat:

Spotted on Magnolia tree bark along the Backcountry Trail at the Gulf State Park in Orange Beach, Alabama.
