Description:

Squirrels are very small creatures that can live pretty much anywhere in the world. They can survive in pretty much any climate because of its unique body. A squirrel can reach all the way up to 4 pounds and can sometimes even grow up to 3 feet long. They live in trees and in the ground to survive. They are very unique animals and usually carry some type of disease.

Habitat:

Squirrels live in almost every habitat, from tropical rainforest to semiarid desert, avoiding only the high polar regions and the driest of deserts. They are predominantly herbivorous, subsisting on seeds and nuts, but many will eat insects and even small vertebrates.

Notes:

I spotted this squirrel in my friends front yard digging a whole in the ground and the placed an acorn in that whole.
