Description:

Dispersal form of a freshwater Bryozoan (a sessile tentacled animal that lives in colonies much like saltwater corals). This “egg” will lie dormant until conditions are right for it to begin a new colony.

Habitat:

Shallow pond in rural SW Pennsylvania
