An annual herb with simple, alternate, tooth-edged leaves. The flowers are pink or purple and have 4 petals.

Habitat:

Rocky desert habitats

Notes:

Spotted in Wadi Arbaeen, near St. Katherine's. >>Flowers and stems are eaten fresh by local Bedouin.
